Windows 98 gets dll errors when try usin

Why is my Powerpoint 2000 not opening. And when I try repairing it by running the SFC and restore the Windows 98 Operating System when I put the Windows 98 Second Edition CD-ROM in it goes into a blue screen and hangs.
