Windows 98 preview pane

By jeremy ·
My question regards the window pane in explorer when you are viewing files that allows you to preview the contents of a file. When I click jpeg files it doesn't give a preview in that window. This is a very usefull option when scanning through imagefiles. I was wondering how I could go into setting and configure this to work. It works with other file types such as html shortcut links. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Click on view
set as web page
click on view again
go to folder options
go to file types
add the jpg jfif jpeg etc in there to get it to preview.

Download PreviewFix.zip from this page:

http://www.geocities.com/plansdowne_ca/

Unzip it and double-click the .reg file. Restart.
