I have a win98 computer w/a problem.
The computer will not bootup to the desktop. The last thing I see on the screen at bootup is the windows logo screen than I get a line going down the middle of the screen. I cannot get to safe mode to check the video settings. I can use the w/98 startup disk and get to the dos prompt and see all the files.Is there another aprroach I could take to get to the video settings if that might be the problem.. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance…
