Windows 98 SE fails to network

Background: I have extensive backgriund in PC hardware and Networking including multi OS’s— This question is for a machine on my home network which constise of 1 NT 4.0 with proxy 2.1 SP controlling an ISDN modem, 1 redhat 5.2 machine, 2 windows 95’s OSR 2.1 and the demon child WINDOWS 98 SE, all other machine can browse the network and use all ports thru the Proxy,,– Except the Windows 98 Ican get out to the Internet, I can use ftp (as long as it rides the back of HTTP) Ican see the computer from every other workstation and browse the drives but on this one no telnet, no ping resolves, no Browsing other workstations, no upd ports (ICQ, RealAudio, ect)I’ve change NIC’s Used them in differant spots everything that I could think of so if onr of you haverun in to a simular problem please pass it along (I’ve used packet sniffers and other tech tools and no answers)
