Windows 98 Startup CD

It is quite easy to create an emergency boot up floppy for WINDOWS 98 etc, any way to create Emergency Boot CD's for WIN 98, Win 2K and Win XP

I suppose you could create a bootable CD that has the files and programs that you desire on it.

The critical thing, is that the motherboard on the target system must support boot from CD.

For several options for creating a bootable CD, look atthe CD links at www.bootdisk.com

W2K and XP are distributed on bootable CD's anyway, so unless you need some special programs, you can just use their CDs.

I need necessarily a CD Bootable win 98 only. The site u have suggested contains only bootable floppy

Look at the information at this link;

There are 3 or 4 other links at bootdisk to articles on setting up bootable CD's.

You could follow any of these guides, and setup the CD to boot as you needed.
Install the W98 boot disk files in the root of the CD, and place whatever tools you want in seperate folders on the CD.

Again, this will only work if the motherboard supports booting from a CD.
