windows 98 startup screen

By bcheng1877 ·
whenever i log on to the network, the windows 98 startup screen always appear even if i uncheck start this everytime it starts.

I cleared out all the guest accounts in the global groups.

Is there a way to remove that startup screen?

when you say startup screen, do you mean the "splash 98 screen" or the windows logon box?

i've tried it still coming on...don't think it's a local computer issue, must reside in teh pdc or user account somewhere.

Dont think this will help but...try this
edit your MSDOS.sys file
and add the line LOGO=0
From DOS you need to run the ATTRIB command and from windows edit the properties to allow the changes.
