So I am looking to buy a keyboard for my language however on my locked down work windows machine, keyboard settings can not be changed.

I am from the Netherlands, and if I plug a Canadian french keyboard from lenovo, will it use the french layout or will it default to the Netherlands layour

Since this is work, and mind you I’ve run into such before, this has never been a problem since I ask the IT or IT lead to change it for me. They always oblige since it’s work related.

Now if this was for me to use the work PC for personal use I would not ask since that would not be appropriate.
