Windows can’t resolve login password!!

Stupid Stupid stupid. Whilst trying to join a windows 2K machine to a new domain, I removed the current domain name in newtoek properties and joined a temporary workgroup called ‘Temp’ . I then rebooted and now windows will not resolve the login password as it can’t find the old network. Any suggestions??
