Windows can’t unzip file

by rprzybylow . Updated 16 years, 3 months ago

I zipped a filed that was 9.8Gb to 4 Gigs.

I was backing up a customers pics and some other personal information they wanted to keep on to n external HDD. I had to zip it because It was a 9GB HDD.

After Upgrade to win 7 from xp, ( Fresh install) I didn’t mean upgrade.

I get a message stating that it cannot unzip a file that is empty. In the properties tab it shows 4.0 GB on the zipped file, please help I don’t have the heart to tell them that they lost family photo’s.
