Every so often, running Windows 98 SE, my screen “sort of” blinks (for a split second, almost cannot see it unless your staring right at it). I don’t get any error messages, no ‘blue screens of death’, Norton doesn’t find anything wrong, but….
Inside all of my folders that I created on my desktop, the icons change back to the “Large Icon” view setting. I then have to go to the view menu for each folder, or folder within a folder (sometimes the heirarchy is ten deep) and change my view setting back to “List” view.
What is causing this? Is there an easy way to correct it without giving W98 a lobotomy?
