Windows compatibility mode paging

by cbreinholt . Updated 25 years, 8 months ago

I recently installed a new 20 gig hard drive in a Toshiba Equium 7000s. I had to use the “MaxBlast” software to make the computer recognize that size of hard drive. I had set up the hard drive as the main hard drive with the “MaxBlast” software installed. After that I reinstalled the old HD with the new one as the second HD. Windows gave me a message that one of my IDE devices was incompatible with the 32 bit drivers and windows was going to use the MS-DOS compatibility mode drivers. Now, even with the new hard drive removed, I cannot get rid of the compatability mode paging. I have used all of the suggestions that Microsoft gives in their knowledge base. Does anybody have any other suggestions.
