Windows Default Mail window

When I boot my computer (XP) after recently installing a new Norton Anti-Virus, I receive the following window from Microsoft: “Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fullfil the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.” I Have Outlook already, how can I get rid of this window. If I click “ok” it takes me to my mail.
