Locked

Windows Desktop Lockdown

By jdrummond ·
I am trying to find a case study or business study to help me support an initiative to lock down the windows desktops at my worksite. I can't seem to find anything concrete on money/manpower saved or on the effects this might have on staffing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a few questions, first:

1. What exactly are you looking to "lockdown"?
2. Are your PCs in a Microsoft Domain environment with Active Directory?
3. How many PCs and physical locations are involved?

With this info I might be able to give you a better idea of how to compute your ROI.
