Windows Domain IE Proxy problem

By emmanuel.monsour ·
Hi,

Recently I uninstalled Microsoft ISA 2004 from my company's network. When I did that all the Domain Clients IE 6 proxy settings automatically changed to an old Proxy server which is no longer on the network (pre-ISA usage days, before my time in the Company, ie +2yrs).

I have scoured the Domain Controller and Security Policies, but could not see the setting. The Domain is a rollover from NT > 2K > 2003, and the PDC is a new box, and the old box referred no longer exists.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Cheers,
Emmanuel

Does your standard IE setting automatically detect proxy settings or look for a script? You should change the settings to manual, or remove the selection through some sort of a policy, if applicable.

Who knows what your predecessors were using before ISA 2004, if that was not documented.
