Windows Explorer Copy/moving files

Good day all.

I am trying to find this out for my personal information, no real intension in using this in the real world or anything, but just because I don?t know and would like to know, its been bugging me for a while.
Just how does Windows Explorer decide on the order to copy/move files from one folder/drive to another? Does it do it alphabetically, size of file, type of file?? Does anyone know the answer and the resource page I can get this information from?
