Windows Explorer Error

I use winXp Pro.I am having an error message ( Explorer has encountered and error and need to close) each time i try to open either 1.Windows Explorer 2.Search Files&Folders 3.My Computer 4.My Documents Etc,
All others software are working normallyeven Internet Explorer. I have tried checkdisk or re appliying SP1 but without results … Please advise
