Windows Explorer Folder Options...

By mrrous ·
On a Windows XP based computer, in Windows Explorer, when I double-click a folder in content pane, this folder open in a new window. In Windows Explorer, Tools Menu, Folder Options, General tab, under "Browse folders", "Open each folder in the same windows" option is select.

Maybe somebody have some ideas?

I seem to remember that you can set this from within TWEAKUI, so download it from Microsoft:

You had the right idea, but you must do something else. My Windows is in spanish so I'm guessing the names:
Follow the same path you did to configure "Open each folder in the same windows". That is in the General Tab. The next tab should be something like "Look" or "View". Here you scroll to the bottom and mark an option that says something like "Remember the view configuration for every folder". Then click on Apply. And then, of the two buttons on top click the one called something like "like the actual folder".
That should do it. Please excuse the way I explained myself, but i've seen translations (in official software packages) that would make you go crazy.
