Windows Explorer Menu Missing

By pcmaster ·
I have no idea what one of my users did, but when opening Windows Explorer, there are no menus at the top. I can't figure out how to get the menus back. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them back? Registry edit or whatever help would be appreciated. Thanks.

do you have words across the top (File Edit View...) and no icons. if so, right-click on a blank area on the gray part with the words. click on Standard buttons, address bar, links to re-enable them...hope this helps...

There is no text at all. The only bar at the top is the header bar that says something like "C:\" and that is all. The menu's and the areas where they reside are gone! I can place the cursor on the bar and get the double-vertical arrow, but it doesn't allow me to pull anything down. Very strange occurrence.

Do you have just a few ICONs across the top of the Windows?

Try hitting F11.

Thank you. That did enough for me to restore everything else.
