windows Explorer problems

My windows explorer keeps crashing. When I use the
explorer, sometime into opening folders i get the
follwing message:

Explorer.exe-Application error
The instruction at “0x77f55127” referenced memory
at “0x00000054”. The memory could not be “read”. Click
OK to terminate the program.

Sounds like a memory conflict…What in here is not
getting along w/ something else? Hardware conflict?
Video? The updates?

I have reinstalled XP twice and the problem is not
fixed. Cananybody help me?
