I am running windows 98 and I am having problems. When I try to open a program (Money, Excel, Express etc.) the computer occasionally freezes – i.e. it wont let me do anything like move the mouse curser press control + alt + delete etc. The only solution is to then restart and hope it doesn’t do it next time I open the program.
I have Norton Antivirus 2001 and my system is free from viruses. I have used Msconfig and reduced the amount of programs running on start up (in case it was a memory problem) and nothing works. Any help would be grateful as I can’t continue like this!
