    Windows Genuine Advantage – Failure

    I have a full license of windows 7 professional. I purchased the computer with Vista, and then paid my reseller to upgrade from Vista to Windows7. On July 1st I started receiving WGA – Failures. I haven’t done anything different to my computer since the upgrade in March, so I’m not sure why all the sudden it would suddenly not be genuine? Any ideas?

      Was it ever authenticated?

      You have like 30 days from time of installation to enter the product key and Activate. Was this ever done? if not, it is the most likely cause of the problem.

      If you are having trouble doing this, ring MS to get it activated.
