Windows Home XP Password Change

I have a windows Home Xp connected to the office domain on windows 2000.

But if my password expired i cannot change it on my own ,i have to call the IT personnel to change it from there end at the server.

How can i achieve it from my desk.
since it always expired every month.

Pleasse Help me out

Well.. if it's on the server and they have it setup to "User Cannot change password", you will never be able to do it. Admins do this sometimes to track users passwords.

Otherwise, hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and select change password. If it fails there, you do not have permission to change it.

These are administrator's duties to issue expiration dates on all users on the domain. As suggested earlier, allow users to change password in the Server. Talk to your Network Administrator do that, you simply can not do it on your computer with limitted previlege.
