windows installer

Hi, i’m trying to install a new program to my laptop that’s running windows xp. But when i run the setup launcher it will first check for the operating system version and everything is fine there. Then the problem start when is checking for the configuring windows installer, the bar goes half way then it stop and i get this error messege. 1628:Failed to complete installation
