Windows Installer

We are running Win2000/NT, We just pushed out Service Pack 3 for win2000/NT. There’s a lot of End Users with Ms Office problems, example: After SP3 was installed on some eu machines. They can open MS Office suite or can we uninstall nor repair this problem. This is the error message we’re getting: “The Windows Installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support personnel to verify that the Windows Installer service is properly registered.” Keep in mind that I have reinstalled the windows installer successfully. Is there a solution for this problem? Also, could the answer be forward over to gljones15@yahoo.com and george4.jones@ps.ge.com.
