Getting so sick of this problem. Since my fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (SP1) – whenever I install software, the windows installer will hang or not respond for long periods – then it comes back to life, installs a bit more, then freezes again – sometimes it can take up to 10-20 minutes to install a normal program! Can anyone shed any light on this?
Everything except install setups is working fine.
