windows installer window

Hi friends

I have win 2k pro installed on my pc

After I have run win2k setup again and repaired the previous installation succesfully by inserting the CD

I have a strange problem

Whenever windows boots I have windows installer windows three or four times

Besides whenever I try to use any program like IE etc

Again windows installer dialog box comes and stays for 5-6 secs..

SO my pc has become quite slow

Before running the setup there was no such problem
