Windows Logon Password Lost.

Windows ME Logon Password question all.

Have a friend that has an HP Pavilion x1953, his Windows Logon came up after an accidental Log Off. Somehow he entered his user name and changed the password and can’t remember it, have tried everything andcan’t seem to hit on the right combination.

Anyone have a workaround idea? I can’t seem to get him back onto his home network due to it. Can use the dial-up feature, but the NIC won’t recognize him logged on as “anyuser”.
