Windows ME and Mcafee problems

I have Windows ME and when I loaded Mcafee antivirus 4.5 and turned on the computer I get blue screen errors when mcafee starts up. I have had this problem on two different windows me computers. I uninstall the virus program and everything works fine… Is their a fix for this?
