It seems since I was infected with an email virus about a month ago, my PC hasnt been shutting down properly. I am running WinME on a P3, 600mhz machine. It seems when my resources reach the teens and I go to shut down my machine, the desktop closesdown as usual, but then the black screen with blinking cursor is what I see unless i manually shut down the PC, resluting in running scandisk on the next boot-up due to ‘improper shutdown’. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.
