I am using win ME and IE 5.5,
Every time I connect to my ISP via the Microsoft connection manager I am online according to the little computer screens in the lower right corner, but as soon as I click IE and the bottom left of the screen shows (finding site) sometimes it shows www-cache.freeserve.net instead of www.freeserve.com. As soon as I see the cache show up I know I am not going to see my homepage. I have been to the Microsoft site and have done the suggested winsock 2 reinstall via DUNbut its still the same. Any answers would be welcome. Thankyou.
