    Windows Media 7.1

    I have a windows 2000 professional install in my Dell gx150 dell system. everytime I play music from my cd rom, it play faster than usually, I had uninstall & re-install the media, it still doesn’t fix the problem. on the other hanh, if I play it under entertainment’cd player, everything is fine. is there somebody out there has the same problem that I have? please advise.

      It seems that windows media 7.1 has got a bad set of sound decoder or encoder.. my only advice is to use another program… or get some newer / older sound codecs.
