All of a sudden windows media player keeps locking up my system whenever I try to play any song. it will actually start the song, (any one chosen, it doesn’t matter which one) and then it will start to skip like a badly scratched record that where the needle hits the scratch, bounces abck and then keeps repeating the same phrase over and over. The only changes I have made was I installed nero, but since this happened i have uninstalled Nero and restored the system to a prior time and date, but it still does not work.
Any ideas, I am at wits end.
