Windows Media Player

How can I clean up the list of the last files opened in the File menu in Windows Media Player 7? I've been lookin 'for the option but I can?t find it.

It is not the option,but this may be how to clear file list,click on file menu and select open,the window will open and can select where files are stored,select and delete the files not particularly from the file list.

These items are stored in the registry. The recent file list is stored in the following key. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList
Delete the key(s) to remove the recently used file.
Standard warnings about using regedit apply.
