Aint that a Suprise - Those tests wouldn't of transferred to the NT 2000 or XP cert anyway. From what I understand it's a whole new series of test's. So I would save my dollars and forgo geting the certification. How long would the NT 2000 or XP cert last - only god Gates knows.

If you are looking for a cert to get you a great job then get the CISCO certification - a few years experence and that cert could mean 6 figure salary.

Otherwise, I would start using my dollars for a college degree the money is better spent. That AS/BS degree can't be change, expire or take away from you, and if you want more education - you add to it (MS/MBA/PHD), not toss it out and start over.

Also - You should look at starting at the bottom, if youdon't have the cert - they want experence - so take any job that will give you the experence, get some college credits going, then after a year of experence start looking again.

The bottom sucks (I know started there) - but everyone has to startsomewhere, and with no experence, no college credit and no cert's... that's the entry point I would be looking at (but hopeing for the middle).

Thanks for you honesty. It is a little discouraging, but it's true. I know there are some jobs out there that don't require certificates just the knowledge. Thank goodness I did good in my class grades and at least I get a certificate of completion from the institute. But I do still have to pay mucho bucks. That sucks. I read your input in the discussion on certification from Microsoft. I agree with you totally.
Thanks for your help.
Sandy
