Windows NT and Clustering

If I have two machines that are clustered in Win NT4. One machine fails and have to be rebuilt, this was the 1st node in the cluster. Can the machine be rebuilt and added straight back to the cluster ? NB. The shared disk has SQL7 installed on it.
