In my office, we had 2 (two) Windows NT 4.0 server. Both are PDC and configured with a trust relationship.
One of our user had a new OS, Windows XP Professional.
The 2 (two) NT server has domain names:
#1: Jakarta
#2: Domain (funny name for a server huh?)
In “Jakarta” we had setup a workgroup called “Windows98”, all the workstations are connected to this workgroup. Except the workstation which has a Windows XP.
It can browse to both servers, share the servers hard drives, but cannot connect to other workstations in “Windows98” workgroup.
If I change the Win XP setting so it will join the “Windows98” workgroup, it can’t. But when I set to join “Jakarta” domain it was able to join the domain, and can logon to “Domain”domain.
Can anybody help?
