Windows NT Login Script Problems

by chubbard . Updated 24 years, 8 months ago

I have a PDC and have placed a login script named test.bat into the C:\winnt\system32\repl\import\scripts directory. The test.bat contains net use commands which will map network drives (i.e. net use p: \\bserver\quality ). In a user profile on thePDC I placed the test.bat reference. When I log into a client computer who authenticates to the PDC, the Windows NT Login Script DOS box appears and appears to function as it should. However, the desired drive is not mapped. The client computer does not already have a P: mapped prior to logging in either. I can get the script to work if I log in to a Win2K box or a Win NT box, but not on any 9x boxes. Can anyone please explain and help with a solution.
Thank you.
