windows nt server 4.0

By tracyjts ·
Hi

I have a dual boot pc with Windows 98 and Windows NT Server 4.0. When i select my Windows NT Server 4.0 to boot up it get's all the way to the blue screen ("the screen just before you get to the screen where you do control, alt, del and enter your password")and the operating system won't come up it just re-boots and brings you back to the selection screen where you can choose either win nt or win 98 operating system..When i select win 98 it comes up all the way just fine.. How can i fixmy win nt to stop re-booting and come all the way up like it did before??Thanks..James..

At winNT boot and after choosing winnt from the menue press F6 and re-install the driver for the SCSI card you have or the driver of the boot device .
Off course I assume that you have the boot partition in FAT16 OR NTFS as NT does not support FAT32 from the win98.

I would try to boot into the last known hardwar econfig and see if that helps you. If that doesn't work, I beleive you're going to be stuck with recovering with the emergency boot disk, or running the repair option during NT setup.
