I try all of MS free stuff at least once; I installed Defender and the newest update for it.
It ran great for a week or so and then my CPU started going 100% with msmpeng.exe and some times with iexplore. I checked and MS forums are going nuts with the same problems and others like it.
It turns out one care has allot of problems with it also. I guess I thought once a product goes to market it should be at least 95% ok on most computers.
But wait its MS sorry I almost forgot 🙂
