windows pro 2000

my computer has cable internet but when running win 2000 pro it is really very slow. I know this old gateway is i guess the reason. i tried to add ram from other computers but none worked. can someone help me get this computer running faster.. and please no jokes about my dinosaur computer.. i know this already.. i just need help in quickening this machine.. here are my system info:
