I have come across something I have never seen before while trying to upgrade a computer. I am getting this error:
While Initialing device IOS:
Windows protection error. You need to restart.
I have tried four Win95b, Win98, WinMe, and Win2k. The only one that works is Me which was originally on the machine which I want to change. I have also tried a different hard drive.
There has to be a setting on the system board that the hardware vendor installed. Is there a way I can dump this or is there a way to get rid of this crapola.
