Hi, I am trying to connect a printer to a domain and am having dificulty. I've installed the drivers, run the setup exe which finds the printer but when I attempt to connect to the printer, it frezes on "Creating a new port".
I recently installed SP1, which included "firewall per port authintication" and I believe that this is the cause of the issue. Is there a way to manually configure the firewall on the server? If so how? Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did they resolve it?
I would be really appreciative if anyone could help. Thanks, chuck.
