Having problems with installation of updates on Windows XP/Pro, can anyone help with this? I have checked the MS boards and help articles, yet although there are various similar problems none really has a correction that works.
During updates for Windows Search 4.0 I recieve this error message in the Systems Events Log:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070643: Windows Search 4.0 for Windows XP (KB940157).
