Windows server 2000 Problem

How I do can eliminate antivirus software? My Problem is with McAfee VirusScan Professional edition desintallation or to uninstall. This software block or stop communication when is updated, causing problems. I go to add/remove programs and doing click on remove, this software then produce a error that I permit not uninstall it.
