Windows Server 2003 File Sharing

By mindoranto ·
Is there a way to setup folder sharing in windows 2003 server for multiple users who log on to a workstation using the same log on? All of our employees log onto their workstations with the same user name and password. But I would like to setup different folders on the server for each user to use but password protect the folders so that only certain users can access the files within. I would like windows to prompt them to enter a username and password to log into the folder the access the data. Each workstation is running XP Pro and again it's Windows Server 2003. Can This be done and thank you for you help....

I believe you would need individual usaer accounts

You should setup up each user with their own user account. This will make things much easier. This will also remove Security liabilities as well. I am not aware of anyway to restrick different people from folders if they all use the same logon ID.
