    windows server 2003 install issue

    Locked

    by will ·

IHello, I have been trying to install win server 2003 enterprise edition
on my computer with out any luck at all. (10 days) I boot off the disk
and have set up partitions etc.

    What happens is this:

I boot from the disk, it starts loading files and gets to the point
where its says it is “loading windows” and hangs there.

This is just before the R console etc., so there is no opportunity to
    input any info.

I have tried a number of things but can seem to crack it.

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

have run across this a couple times, do you have another disc you could use?
May also try doing a full format of your HD, or have you tried this?

like a bad install to me but could be some other things. You could try some of the solutions on the following page: http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000646.htm

Did you have another OS installed on this system? You may even wanna double check your HD cables, make sure you have the jumpers set right.
