Windows Server 2003 SBS – Domain, Schema, and enterprise admins

I am trying to reinstall the administrators components on the SBS server at my office. When it does the scan for setup requirements, it says that my user is not part of the domain admins, enterprise admins, and schema admins group. The user is a memeber of each of those groups. I removed him from each group and reassigned him to each group. I restarted the server, to everyone elses annoyance and I am still not considered a part of the groups. Does anyone know why this may be?
