I am upgrading a Server 2003 machine to Server 2008. The install proceedes fine through the Key entry and then crashes saying “Uninstall the following program: Windows Sharepoint Services”. I look in Add/Remove Programs and do not find Sharepoint services listed any place there. It is in Windows Components, but it is not checked. Anyone seen this problem or have an idea how to fix it? Also I don’t see any obvious DDE stuff running.
