i have a WSS on my windows 2003 and using it in my Intranet is fine, the problem is that i want some external user to be able to use it, i have opend port 80 on my router to the server but still i cant log in. i’m using a dns name to get into the server exp; http:\\med*****.2mydns.com:80 then when i find the server and using my user name after i try to get to a file inside it changes the adress like the local address when i’m in the intranet http:\\med***-sh01\ and i cant use the file.
I’m not an expert so please go easy on me 😉
