Windows Update

Hi everyone here..I had some question want to ask, when my notebook is Windows XP (SP1), it can add local printer at any time, but when i upgrade to SP2 and update all the service pack , i can’t add the printer anymore..when i click the add printer icon, it didn’t response..anyone encounter this problem before? thanks a lot~
